Shaquita Wernicki: There is nothing that I know of to make it thinner but a great mask is mayonnaise. Work it into your hair, put on a shower cap if you have it and let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes and was as normal. Also, you should be using a moisturizing shampoo (Aussie Moist w/ w minute miracle as a conditioner for instance). Try using Frizz-Ease or something similar as a finishing product. The Body Shop has Define and No Friz with Brazil Nut Oil that is nice. The key for you will be to keep it conditioned...do not shampoo everyday and when you do just shampoo at the scalp.Happy hair!...Show! more

Donte Liversedge: Basically, I have no idea what kinda hair I have. It's not hard, but not silky smooth either. It's very curly but when it's brushed it's very smooth. However, it's not kinky. When I straighten it goes smooth and silky like, not being racist, White peoples hair. I have dark brown hair [never dyed] and it is super frizzy and it ALWAYS looks thick [I EVEN GOT IT THINNED]. Brenton Cornwall: If your hair is curly then you should not touch it once you get out of the shower. You should run your fingers through it with some frizz calming serum and let it drip dry. DO NOT BRUSH OR TOWEL DRY. I know a girl w/ hair just as you described and that's how she said she did her hair. She! was BEAUTIFUL.

Shaquita Wernicki: You probably know most of this, but:never towel dry it or wrap your head in a towel! Always let it dry naturally, never brush it after it starts drying. Even if you are going to straighten it with a flat iron, let it dry naturally so there's no frizz. Only if you straighten it should you brush it when it's damp or dry.
Russ Kiernan: my hair is like that too. what i do is after my shower wrap my hair in a towel for a few minutes. then i put either john frieda "dream curls" or garniere frutis moussee in. then i style my hairand use suave hair spray. a moderate amount, enough to keep my curls from completly frizzing. but sometimes hair does what you don't want it to do, then i just rhrough it up in a messy bungood luck...Show more
Rebeca Mckin: Do you want it to be straight,! of do you want it to be like it is, only not frizzy? if you want it to be staight and heathy, use herbal essences shampoo and conditioner for straight hair, and get a straighting iron. the conditioner will keep it from damaging. Or if you like that your hair is curly, then get the shampoo and conditioner for curly hair. You can get these from Wal-mart. I know because i have the same problem.
