My cat is acting...strange ?

Ronnie Barcus: You've never seen a cat act like that? You're insane. That's what they do. They rub up against things to leave their scent behind, and they knead the floor, blankets, and furniture. And they meow too.

Marhta Teahan: No i have not ever seen a cat act like this because we get all of our pets spayed/nuetered. We found this cat as a pregnant stray...we will spay her but she is nursing kittens so we cant spay her now...

Hope Lundmark: It probably has to do with hormones after giving birth. All your momma-kitty wants to do is to take care of things and probably scent mark objects and you to warn other cats where she is because she has kittens.

Salvador Prchlik: The only time a cat acts strange is when it's not acting strange.

Margy Sandquist: Cats can be in heat 48 hours after giving birth. It is not like human cycles at all. She is definitely in heat. I do believe you can spay a nursing cat if the kittens are old enough to be away from he! r for a few hours. Call a vet and ask.
