One can gain a great deal of insight into the personality of say, a spouse or parent, by dissecting their complete horsoscope (ie, their sun,, ascending and moon signs, plus planetary aspects). For instance, A Gemini with Scorpio ascending will likely be very, very different than a Gemini with Libra ascending.If an astrologer were to do your complete horoscope (and you'll need your exact time of birth to ascertain it) I think you'd be quite surprised how accurate it really is. ! Peggy Sandefer: Astrology and horoscopes have some things in common. Belief based, fortune telling concepts, that have no evidence.Ask where astrology clearly succeeds to do what it claims. Where does it do better than random chance? Or better than simpler and more likely alternatives? Without the belief factor that mimics a religion. Tana Dumoulin: 1- Astrology, horoscopes..they're all relatively the same in my book.2- I'm a Christian. For me, only one person knows me and my history and who I am, and that's God. No one can predict the future, no one knows your life like God does.3- Alright, with astrology, you break it down by when you're born..so everyone born in the same month, same day, of the same year will have the same life? I'm still not buying it! I know someone who was born the day before me, same year..we're polar opposites. I don't think one day will make a difference if you believe in this stuff.4- I've read my Chinese Horoscope. For the most part, incorrect. Like, 80% incorrect. Troy Staton: I don't believe in horoscopes... I believe in astrology. I do read horoscope for fun though, but I don't believe in it.*Edit: Horoscope and Astrology are not the same thing. In astrology, to know your birth chart, you will need the time and where you are born at. So that means if you we born same day, same time with but the other person is at another side of the world then your birth chart WILL be different....Show more

Monroe Rainey: omg....most of the people who go to this section do not believe in the "horoscopes" you readwe believe in astrology... not the little things that you read in magazines.........horoscopes and astrology are nothing alike!!!!!!!horoscopes are just little predictions people make for your sun sign alone... you have much more.. there is your sun sign, moon sign, rising sign and a bunch others.. and no usually you will not find people who are born the exact same time as you(place, time, day, year).. and how dare you go to this section and talk to us like we are stupid.. we don't go to the religion section and say god isn't real.. get a life...Show more
