how would you save an old amusement park?

Lyman Gauld: You will need the entire community. A small town in Indiana recently was able to raise over a million dollars to rebuild a covered bridge whichwas burned down by arson so I know it can be done. Try to get free advertising like TV or local radio news coverage. Put out donation cans at businesses and have fundraisers. Have a plan in place with the owners though to make sure the money is used right. If people eventhink their money is not being used right the effort will be dead. Hard work and good PR....Show more

Lynn Hollars: you should make a website definitely a website so that everyone could see what a great park it is you could go around the park and take pictures of roller coasters, rides, shops the hotel, maybe you could ask the owner if he could update the hotel and park but not to much because you still want it to look like it is from the 1800s so maybe just adding a T.V, high speed Internet maybe give the walls a fresh coat of paint then you cou! ld talke to the owner about changing the park to a western theme since it already has the 1800s hotel and then if that doesn't work you could always have a fundraiser but maybe you could do both and try to help earn enough money to build a new roller coaster wooden of coarse because it a western theme youl could even thik of a western name for this, what ever you do I'm sure you will do good at it you. Good Luck!...Show more

Keven Woodington: -fundraisers of all kinds periodically--coffee, bake sale, community auction, car washes, have restraunts sponser you for one evening, donation boxes, talent shows, etc. -have people sign petitions in person and online-ask for volunteers to help out at the park and hoteli hope i helped!...Show more
