Shandi Wedge: I was home schooled from 2nd-7th grade along with my brother and sister. My mother stayed at home though. I believe it depends on how motivated you are. If you can teach yourself the material just by going through the book and your dad has the time to dedicate to it then yea it sounds like a good idea. If not then maybe you should rely on having your dad or a tutor help you. Just make up a pros and cons list to weigh it out and see what your parents think about the idea....Show more

Freeman Rutkin: I'm home schooled and used to be a swimmer. My mom babysits so she's home all day, but I rarely need her help!! We use abeca books, and home schoolers have LOOOOTS of groups and are the fastest growing schooling in MO. Home schoolers are often a year ahead in school. And no need to worry about friends you can find tuns of home school clubs, meetings, groups, and everything you can think of! There is also free science center day 4 home schoolers, free movies and all kinds of stuff. You can find home schooled book stores that sell new and used home schooling books, and you learn at your own pace and it's GRATE!! I hope I helped! :D...Show more
