Azzie Trembly: I would probably choose Hip-Hop/Rap. I think both genres are really amazing and that it just kind of depends on what you're looking for in the mu! sic. Hip-hop/rap has a lot of really sick beats and classic rock has a lot of awesome drum solos and harmonious singing and things like that. It's a tough match between the two. Here's what I mean: With most of my exposure to hip-hop, I wou! ld rate Tupac higher than Bob Dylan. That would be insane to ! Bob Dylan fans, based upon their biases. But here's the kicker--as a hip-hop fan with his own preferences, I'd much rather prefer Bob Dylan to T.I. or 50 Cent--these two I've never liked. So be prepared, you're going to have some who say all of the rockers suck or all of the rappers suck--despite the fact that both the rockers and the rappers would probably have good recording and touring stories to swap. It had a few good songs but the rest was trash. Jim Jones singles were way better than Jay-z even though Jay's a better rapper.
